Waste is disposed of in almost-filled landfills and one out of every two of those landfills desperately needs repair so it will notleak.
Conversion of waste to energy directly or with a pre-conversion to fuel is in reality a waste of energy.
The energy needed to reproduce the raw material (and the need of fossil fuel)
make the process completely unsustainable.
Recycling waste will provide cheaper raw material to the local economy, creating
the opportunity for hundreds of SME companies to produce local goods that are currently imported.
Value Chain Optimization study may be executed to improve the alignment between the supply (crude-slate or feedstock mix), the demand (product-slate) and the capabilities and constraints of the installation and the infrastructure.
